Myopia Profile

Instruments.

State-of-the-art instruments for myopia management include axial length measurement, plus additional functionality to support diagnosis and monitoring of patients with myopia.

Instruments for myopia control measure axial length, with extra functions from additional diagnostic measurements to data analysis and reporting software. Optical biometry is the most accurate way to measure axial length, being up to 10 times more accurate than refraction to measure progression of myopia and the impact of myopia control treatments. These instruments add more data to the clinical picture, support communication, build the myopia management practice, and ensure best-practice clinical care.
