Ortho-k.
Ortho-k has shown robust myopia control efficacy for children with low, moderate and high myopia, and myopia in the presence of moderate-to-high astigmatism. It is the only treatment which slows growth in the more myopic eye of those with monocular and anisometropic myopia. New research indicates that the efficacy of ortho-k can be boosted in the short-term by combination with 0.01% atropine, or by altering treatment zone size. Ortho-k requires practitioner training, topographical equipment and close patient care to fit successfully.
